Thanks all for the warm welcome!

The Beatles were right. Happiness is a warm gun. A 45 ACP 1911!!!

Just a quick background on me since I couldn't formulate any thoughts earlier this morning. I recently got into guns (2012) and bought a Springfield Loaded 1911 stainless. Still have it. It's on my hip as I type. Next and last 1911 is a Les Baer Premier II with a few custom touches-No front cocking serrations, single sided safety, blacked out rear combat sight, Dawson Precision F/O front sight and the 1.5" guarantee. I had it worked over by Alchemy Custom Weaponry. I heard that Rob is now with Cabot Guns?

I just started to reload on a Dillon 650 to help feed the habit. And now, with the crazy California gun laws going to restrict ammo purchases with onerous regulations and fees etc, it's going to get worse.

Anyways, sorry to get so long winded.

Happy shooting and be safe!

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

I was fortunate to find it. It was the summer before Obama was re-elected and the gun stores were low on guns and ammo. Oddly, I prefer black guns now. I've got a blued Les Baer that is wearing just gorgeously! But I fight rust on it since my sweat is pretty acidic.
