Default Some old guns from my Dad

I was going thru some old boxes I had never unpacked and came across 3 older guns.
1) S&W 38s&w, hammerless, fliptop,DA,ser#244##9. it's tight as can be, a little wear but looks pretty new.

2) High Standard Double Nine 22. 9shot, wood grips model W104, S/N 143###1
3) H&R Mod 922, 22 snubby, ser # L54##8

I don't know how he got them, IF they're worth anything. I did dust them off, they were wrapped in a towel but had been oiled. the HighPoint has a little surface rust on cal and barrel. the other two don't have any rust on them, just bad pictures from me.
Any ideas on if these are worth keeping or not?

+10^^^^^^^ How do you guys do it?

I could see me now... "Hey honey, come look in this old box that my dad gave me twenty years ago when he moved to Las Vegas. What's this? a M79 blooper? Wonder how he came into that? OH!! lets see what else! oh my... a 1928 Thompson A1, and LOOK 6 drum magazines!! Maybe I need to check the other boxes in the garage" And then the Mrs... " Oh Michael... You and your guns. I don't believe you got two more!" harummmph!

ROFLMBO! Ron,... I wish you all the best with your treasure find. I'm "funnin' ya" with the above. I just don't get anyone in my world leaving me stuff like this.

You Da MAN!

Funny you mentioned a Thompson! I actually got to shoot a real Thompson with 50 rd drum and 25 rd clips, plus a burp gun! This was back in 1958, and dad brought them to our lake house with a trunk load of 45 ammo, in our 57 Olds. All 3 boys got to shoot both, and I'll always remember that!
Both weapons are still around, currently residing at the OCPD gun range, in their safe.

Is the 38 s&w worth shooting? As old as it is, do I need to find old style ammo or will new ammo work ok in it?

My Dad didn't own any guns, but I have my granfather's Mossberg .22 mag.

Any gun handed down should be a keeper, IMO
