Thank you both. It's going to be a slow build. As soon as I ordered these parts, as well as some necessary tools, I had to make a large purchase for the household and may need to make another. So the parts will be ordered as I can afford them.

Will Hitler allow you to use a 14.5" barrel with an 1.5" muzzle device pin and welded to it? If so, I'd go with that setup.

Yes. That is exactly what I'm going with, but I don't want give all the surprise away yet.

I was going to mention that! Do you have a caliber in mind yet? I would think caliber would dictate the barrel.

I love a good build thread!

Can't wait for our move in about 7 weeks or so, then I can work on getting a drill Press and trying my hand at milling an 80% lower!
