by now, I am sur e you all know of the passing of the Valor line of guns from DW. I am sure they had good reason to kill of what is arguably the best line of guns they make.

plenty of panic buying out there I see
any ideas, rumors...of what will come in 2019 to replace them?

I saw this but didn't see anything "new" out. I think that right now sales are slow of guns in general so they are just keeping their costs down by dumping line or it was not selling?. My opinion of course but you do never know.

I, for one, didn't know Valor was a thing of the past. I did read, just a day or two ago, that nation-wide gun sales are once again on the increase.

Valor was the only DW 1911 I ever considered. I detest the look of "bobbed" pistols

I own one of their CCO's and absolutely love it, great !! pistol ... and I see they're discontinued as well, along with the following:

CCO / Silverback / V-Bob / Valkyrie Commander / Valor / Valor Blue / Valor Commander

I'm not a fan of 'bobbed' pistols either !

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

that is good news of the sales increase. A friend of mine who owns a gun store says sales have been slow all across the US in the last 3 months. Was declining all last year, hope it picks up again.

I have a Cbob and a Guardian. Love them both, easy carry, no hang, no patterning. Cycle like greased lighting and eat everything.

DW, just a DAMN FINE GUN, sad to see the line getting pruned...

While sad news, the value of my Valor may just have gone up, so silver lining?
