Default Greetings from WA

Hello folks,

I just joined this forum, and wanted to say "hello" to introduce myself. I returned to handgunning recently after a decade-long hiatus. Previously I owned a Glock 17 (sorry) and a S&W 686 (miss that gun). While doing a bunch of research, I learned about the Valor and decided it was the gun for me: well-made with top quality parts, unpretentious, accurate, great value. Other guns I considered were a Colt O1970A1CS and an Ed Brown. I ordered my Valor from Dave Severns and received it last month. I love it!

I'm mostly interested in trying IDPA CDP, so I'll be having some work done to the gun to add an S&A magwell and some other stuff. The grips will be replaced with Ahrends Ebony grips as I prefer thicker grips than the stock thin grips. Currently it's completely stock. Here's the requisite photo.

Looking forward to participating in this forum.

Regards,

Mark
