Congratulations to Sig, they make fine firearms. And the chosen model looks purdy to me!

I had been wanting one and it was Christmas so.... yup, I bought one. Found a deal on Gunbroker and it arrived promptly. The DA/SA and the decocker are very strange to me. I have found that the reach from the Rear of the frame to the trigger is shorter than 1911 and the trigger action release point is closer to the front of the frame. Consequently my large meat hooks and long trigger finger are not in a comfortable position to run the gun. The combination leaves me a situation where I think I will have to be in the barn to hit the broad side of the barn with the weapon. In full disclosure I have NOT fired the M11-A1 9MM in Dark Earth but my practice dry shooting has not been confidence building. Otherwise it is a well built and handsome piece, substantial and a credit to the reputation of Sig Sauer. It just doesn't fit ME. I will be selling the piece and have purchased a Sig Sauer P226 Legion SAO, again on Gunbroker at a nice discount from list. This pistol is the nuts. I love this 1911 style with thumb safety hand gun and the flat forward trigger and now understand why Sig is revered. They do nice work in New Hampshire. I have a holster arriving in a couple of days and this Sig will by my new carry piece, replacing my Wilson Combat 9MM Special Ops 9 double stack. Dennis
