Default Suppress (or not)?

Anyone using a suppressor on their home defense weapon? Which one and why (or why not)?

I have .22lr coming. I did not think I would define the .22lr as home defense?

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

I thought about doing the paperwork for the suppressed but thought against it...just not worth the money to me.

I'm just thinking if it starts/finishes in my house I'd like to still be able to hear during and after. (realize attackers weapon will not be suppressed but that's not in my control).

yep, I hear that, no pun intended. I think if I ever have to use a firearm in my home I am not too worried about my ears, but taking care of business and protect the occupants.
