New member from the Bluegrass!
Hello All!
I found COTEP via NAMVET72's thread over on the 1911 Forum. I have owned 1911's for the past 12 years. I shot IPSC competition for a couple years during college with a Kimber Pro CDP. Getting to know the 1911 platform via weekly practice and competition, I grew to really appreciate everything about it. I was recently in the market for a bobtailed commander and was aiming to get a Kimber Super Pro Carry HD before a good friend of mine told me to take a look at the Dan Wesson Vbob. He said he had been doing some reading on them and thought they were high quality firearms. Well I took his advice and the rest is history. I know own a Vbob, an ECO and a Specialist! I could tell a difference in the quality of a Dan Wesson as soon as I got it in my hand. I look forward to engaging with like minded folks from the Enlightened Congregation. Regards, James
