Default First Colt I ever bought!

The top Combat Commander .45 acp is the first Colt (or 1911 style) that I ever bought; back in 1981-82; paid $325 for it that included 2 magazines and those stag grips I've posted a picture of. I still have it; the other pictures are after I sent it to David Sams of Sam's Custom Gun Works in VA for an overhaul. I had David do his 21 Step Reliability Checklist, install a Novak Low Profile rear sight and a gold dot front sight - then refinish the gun in a matte blue.
