Default New Inland Mfg 1911

I see in my NRA email that "For 2017, Inland will continue to travel back in time with its new pre-70 series of 1911 pistols. Shown here is the 1911 A1 Government Model with features found on the original G.I. pistols. Features include vertical slide serrations, fixed combat sights, a lanyard loop, GI-style wood grip panels and Ithaca markings. MSRP: TBA."

Is this company worth putting on my radar screen? I was planning to get an Auto Ordinance WWII GI 1911, but I may have to look at this one too.

Don't have experience with them but, as mentioned the Carbines look good.

The reviews of the carbines have been very mixed. There have been reports of improper heat treatment of the bolt, as well as poor fit and finish.

No direct experience, just reviews I have read, M1 carbine is one of my favorites.
