Question about the "Training Cycle" for DIs.

For anyone who has ever served as a DI (either PI or San Diego):

"Graduation" normally ends on a Friday. How many days off does the training team usually get before the next "pick up?" And are given training teams (SDI + DIs) likely to stay together for repeat cycles or are they more likely to get formed fresh for each cycle?
