“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” Thomas Jefferson

To gun owners in other states, Van Cleave’s message is clear: don’t get complacent.
“Don’t think this isn’t coming to your state,” he warned. “They’re looking at Virginia as a test case. What they’re doing here, they’ll do in Kentucky, Texas, Florida, and North Carolina. We all have to stand up and fight. We can’t run to another state. This is a movement to disarm us.”

^^ THIS !!

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.

The Vast Majority of Virginian's are Very Pro Gun! If we had an Electoral College here, we would not be in this big mess! The Problem is this: Northern Va ( Densely Populated) is VERY Liberal (Government Employees! ) Then you have the Coastal section, Liberals and High population, then you have Richmond, High Population Liberals.
But, 90% of Virginia's Counties are Rural and Conservative.
This past Election, too many Gun Owners did not vote. Sad, but true! We must defeat these bills on a Grassroots level.

The Bill of Rights in the US Constitution does not GRANT rights. Rights cannot be granted by man nor governments. Instead, the Bill of Rights affirms natural, inherent rights which we are all born with. It is the duty of any government to protect these rights above all else.

This assault has been playing out here in Washington State for several years now. We have the Safe Alliance Washington "GunGrabbing asshats" piloted by your buddy Bloomberg (yes that one). Like Virginia we have 3 very densely populated moron infested counties. We as a state failed to curb population growth in Seattle-Tacoma area and did not build a wall at the Colombia river to keep the Californians out. The GG’s got their foot in the door with their misinformation campaign on the gun show loop hole. So they got an initiative passed to do a state required background check a “comprehensive background check”. Funny thing though, the state uses the same NICS system for checks but the findings and the paperwork are permanently retained by the dept. of licensing… Yes a registry. Last year they pushed a second initiative thru, this one contained a definition for an assault weapon. “Any gun that uses any portion of the gases produced to propel a projectile through a barrel to cycle the action of the gun to expel the casing and load a new round is an ASSAULT weapon.” Now there classes to the definition having a removable magazine is one, but clauses notwithstanding the statement says your little Ruger 10-22 is now an ASSAULT WEAPON, along with every semi-automatic pistol made. The states attorney general “The little NAZI” as we know him just announced his agenda for the 2020 legislature, a ban on all magazines larger than 10 rounds and a ban on all assault weapons…
To top this crap off both Seattle and Tacoma city councils have passed a gun violence tax on guns and ammo, 2 cents a round on 22 ammo and 5 cents on larger calibers, $25 per gun. The state is currently eyeing how to do this to online sales. I don’t think it matters where you live anymore these asshat’s are everywhere and they’re scheming to overthrow your rights to further their agenda of people control. My grandfathers are rolling over in their graves seeing the evil powers coming to fruition in the very country they fought and gave their lives to protect a mere 3 generations ago. Between the mega rich and their political puppets and the lying media I see no way this constitutional republic will survive without bloodshed. The sadist thing is that we the constitutional constatives are half to blame. We have sat politely quiet for too long while the self-entitled aristocracy has emboldened themselves with their own rhetoric.

My kids both live within a mile of Arlington Cemetery - right in the middle of the swamp. A growing problem is that with the Amazon center they are building in Arlington, gentrification is going to be a huge problem for conservative middle class homeowners as property values skyrocket. The yuppies that are flocking in from Cali don't drive cars or buy houses, they live in high rise apartment buildings and walk to work, and take Uber or the subway whenever they need to go somewhere.
