This BART - Bay Area Rapid Transit station is walking distance from my work. I don't remember the last time I took BART and this is one of the reasons why:

According to a police summary, witnesses said 50 to 60 juveniles flooded the station, jumped the fare gates and rushed to the second-story train platform. Some of the robbers apparently held open the doors of a Dublin-bound train car while others streamed inside, confronting and robbing and in some cases beating riders.

Apparently it only took about 30 seconds for all of this to happen.

For those that take mass transit in other cities, stay vigilant.

That's their pack mentality. One on one, those little POS' wouldn't do a damn thing.

Quite genius if you ask me. Like any great strategic maneuver, if you overwhelm your opponent with a surprise mass attack, they have little in the way of defense. Unless you have high capacity magazines.

Yup... I remember in high school fights were one on one. Your boys watched your back in case one of your opponents friends jumped in. Today's kids are a bunch of pansies and need a group to fight someone.

I bet they would scatter like roaches when the first round goes off. The report said there were no visible weapons but a few beat up some people. I would take a pack descending upon me and my family as a threat of great bodily harm.
