Kinda high dollar for decoration. Super good looking knife, the grip feels really bad, it's the shape. And I just know the finish will not stay on. One with matching grips looks great with your 1911. But like I said, not my carry knife unless I go to a nice BBQ and wanna dress up.

Thanks for the feedback Gary .... appreciated ! Not quite sure what I'll do, it's one of those knives that caught my eye mainly due to the ability to match the grip set-up to your pistol but also realizing that it's not a pocket knife either.

Are these just for show or for bbq's? I ask because the grip certainly lacks ergos and the hand would get very tired quickly if those were used for any length of time, IMO.

I carried mine daily for quite some time, Brownie you even sharpened mine at one of your pistol classes with a sharpmaker! (I remember when I handed it to you you said "What the hell is this?")

Works good with a Brownie Pop, and while it is bulky in the pocket, it was and is certainly up for the daily tasks. The bottom of the handle acts as a glass breaker too!

I stopped carrying it when I got a fixed (non-broken ) knife!

I'd like to get a slimline officers model next sometime in the near future, it will carry a bit better!
