Default My Baer is back

New FO front site and WC single side safety. My old eyes can see the front site again! Rob at Alchemy was great and very easy to deal with.

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Are you using a green rod in your new sight? My P2 has a red rod and I am not able to see it well....

Rob @ Alchemy recommended the green so I went with it. They sent back my old parts and the rest of the green FO and a red FO rod. The green shows up well on the indoor range.

BTW I put 50 rounds down range tonight and what difference that FO sight makes. I pick it up a lot easier now.

Thanks for the info! I am going to try the green rod in mine. If that doesn't do the trick, then it's of to Rob @ Alchemy for the gold dot.

I got a gold dot on my custom and I'm sold.

My son is getting a brass dot because the price of gold rod took a temporary jump, but I think we're back to normal.

It's gold dot for me from now on.

Yes, it is a very nice pistol. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed mine. I didn't mean to hi-jack your thread. Back to topic, good shooting.
