Default New Blade offer from Wilson Combat

"Ozark Trail" Mastersmith Bowie Knife with High-Performance Laminate Blade by Burt Foster.
\

I am more comfortable with blades but this one, beautiful as it is, scares me both because I know it wants to cut me but they are asking $1295.00 each. I don't know enough about knives to know the craftsman but his work appears to me to be incredible. Obviously a collector piece as there are only 10. Comments? Dennis

Burt Foster is an ABS master smith and has been well known for his Bowies. From what I've seen most people in the knife world consider him to be one of the best making knives right now.

The price seems about right for him.

I like knives too. I think I'll continue to buy from Arley and Kershaw.

Think of it as an investment. Knives like this by makers of this level almost never go down in price. This $1300 could be worth twice that in a few years.

I agree. It is really not any different than spending upwards of $1000.00 or more on a firearm.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

I got the email this PM, and must say, I've been considering it.
