Default Dad's Funeral

This was an Event to say the least, To see a Military Funeral on TV is one thing,But to see it in person is another, Listening to "TAPS" in person will send a chill down your spine.

3 chapters in dad's life were represented there,On one side you had his Ranger buddies, in the back you had his Harley buddies and the other side there was his S.A.S.S buddies, These guys drove 2 hours and stood in the hot Alabama sun in August in full S.A.S.S gear.

Mom requested that the Pall Bearers be "RANGERS" but due training they couldn't swing it but his old unit (3RD Ranger Bat/75 Reg) did send a Representative to present Mom with the Flag.

Great pictures Ed!!

Ed, at my dad's funeral I was doing pretty good until "Taps" and the 21 gun salute. That was the hardest part of the service for me!!!
