Default Quick coach gun review

Picked up the Chinese cowboy boomstick today. Fit and finish about what I expected, no better, no worse. A small bit of pitting on the side of the rib, but for a Chink military surplus gun, I was surprised at the overall quality.
2 hours cleaning cosmoline. I didn't see that much on a new M-60 straight out of the plastic bag. Crap was everywhere. But, I persevered.
Gun is 37" long and heavy...we're talking if you shoot your two rounds, you can still use it to club a baby seal and have something for chow. But, that will probably soak up recoil if you are foolish enough to light off both barrels at once. I probably will.
Now, a treat for those who enjoy seeing me punished and tormented ( hell with all y'all ) I put snap caps in, just to see how things worked, and when pulling the trigger, the hammers came nowhere near the firing pins. We're talking 1/4" away. Hmmmm...I worried I would have to go through the ordeal of fighting with Bud's long distance. Sooooooo.......
I grabbed an ancient round of #4 shot off the ammo loop inside the safe door, and off I went behind the house. Here I learned 4 valuable lessons.

1. Yes, with live ammo, the hammers reach the firing pins wonderfully

2. The dog does not like gunfire

3. Even though it was raining, I should have gotten out from under the metal carport, and

4. Shoulda taken shooting muffs.

Anyway, if ya want to see pics, it's on Bud's coach gun page, top of the page, 12 gauge, Century arms or some such

Not bad now you have to learn how to reload shotgun shells, but let see still haven't learned to reload one 45 ACP case in one night so by the time you learn to reload shotgun shells Jake will have great grandkids......

I really like the ratio of information and humor in your posts. Only one question? Should you surrender to the urge to fire both barrels with double 00 buck into the scum bag that invaded not only your clearing but your new house and miss will Jake be able to take the dog for a walk through the hole in the siding? You would not want them walking thru the remains of the POS after you have clubbed him into strawberry jam with that Chinese cowboy thunder stick bludgeon.

They are heavy, you can fire both barrels without injury and they are rebounding hammers.

What, you couldn't read the directions?

Congrats

1.) Should of gotten a hound dog!

2.) Are your ears still ringing?

3.) Is there powder burns on the car port?

4.) Was 'that women' home and if so - are her ears ringing? I'd bet the dogs are too.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
