Default My 1st Colt - Yipppeeee!!!!!!

It's a plain jane Commander with some mods but for the price I think I did pretty well and I'll finally have an iconic 1911! I cannot believe I was the only bidder - hope the rest of the gun world doesn't know something that I don't

and I are already talking grips and I cannot wait for it to get to Miami! The FFL paperwork is squared away and I'm told it ships USPS tomorrow!!!

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

Thank you, thank you, thank you ... now I'm REALLY done buying guns for a while!!!

I cannot do it anytime soon but I've been looking at the services offered by Robar ... I'm thinking about a NP3 Plus finish, a beavertail and solid trigger

I'd say consider a Severns Custom "HardHat" finish.... have him fit a beavertail and install the solid trigger... but have him install a stainless sear while he's got it. Trigger to 3.5 pounds and you'll really be happy!
