Default Images and notes from Steel Challenge 5-27-12

Good Evening COTEP's.
Yesterday, our Ft Lauderdale Club at Markham Park had its monthly Steel Challenge Match.
We had over 60 Competitors and due to my Back healing, I selected to shoot only Rimfire.
I shoot a Ruger Mark III with a C-More Red Dot Optic. The internals have been upgraded by Volquartsen, to remove the Mag Safety and add an adjustable trigger with little to no under or over travel. The trigger is set just at 2#.
I have a special order of a new barrel upper from Tactical Solutions and should have it by the third week in June. It will be light weight, 4 3/4" threaded and Fluted. The barrel is being made to my specs by the company.
And for the best pat I shot my best score ob Sunday at 64.85 total for all stages.

And now for a few photos:

The problem with shootiing sports is you hardly ever get to see the folks faces in pictures. Thanks for posting, if I just could hear the sounds of gunfire, I would think I was there.

I use to post the photos from the front, but some of these shooters just go crazy when some one is in front with a camera::

Actually, my camera that I put on a small tripod, was hit by someone and I am waiting for a replacement ..

Sound, Well that is another thing unless I post a Video.....Could Be next month

Looks like everyone had a great time. But I have a question: How come your pictures are so bright and the sky is blue? Would that be the effects of a glowing orb we see only on very rare occassion up here in the Pacific Northwest? How can someone shoot without wind and rain is a puzzle to me.
