That's the perfect gun. The gun is a Python.

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

I love all the Colt snakes, but they are priced out of sight now. I gave my 4 inch python to my son, but kept my 4 inch Diamondback in 22 lr. I let a King Cobra get away years ago. They are fun to shoot, but if I feel the need to singe my arm hair now, I just take out my Dan Wesson 10 inch in 44 magnum.

A day at the range with a fellow COTEPer is a day very well spent.

Back when brand spanking new Pythons were still on the shelves at gunshops, I had a choice between buying a Python or saving a few bucks and buying a Ruger Security Six.

I went the cheap route...and it was pretty soon after that when the Pythons disappeared off the shelves. And I sold the Security Six not long after I bought it.

Been kicking myself ever since...

My first handgun was a Python. May Dad gave it to me for my 21st Birthday.
