A shockwave is on my list for the vehicle. Not sure if I want to go with the Mossberg or the Remington. If I add a pistol grip brace, I’ll buy the Remmie. If I leave it with stock grip I’ll get the mossy. I have a quick access spot for a full sized handgun within drivers reach as well. Will have to find a holster that will work to hold it in place.

Lol..forget the brace. You'll find that these guns are as accurate as chunkin a rock at a herd of possums. They are literally spray and do damage while you beat feet

Seriously DUDE, we need to talk. Do you go to work with just 1 mag in your hammer?? No, you have a whole bat utility belt full of handy BS with a least 2 spare mags. So why would you go puttering off with the family on a single stick??? I won't even load a horse in the trailer and drag mama to a riding lessons without a pair of backups to my DW and she has a Sig in her purse, yes with a spare.
Chance favors the prepared... Mind and equipment! And chances are, now days you will run across multiple BG's over a lone wackadoddle. SO GEAR UP!

So true. I live in a relative safe town, but my mother-in-law does not.
Also, bad guys do not recognize town borders anyway. Actually, they like to go to where they deem rich towns.
Another wrinkle is I till bump into people I have investigate and/or arrested throughout my career.
So again, best be prepared. Rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

P.S. Wish I could have a SBR or a shottie in my vehicle. Something else frowned upon here.

I’m glad to hear that y’all are open to suggestions from folk who care about you, and hope you’re never in need of the extra gear!
