Default New Gun Closet
My wife and I have lived in our townhouse for almost 10 years and we decided to do a little renovation of our bedroom. We had this closet that was off to the side and not really useable.



We're changing the door to a steel door and had a light and power outlet put in the closet. Two walls are concrete block, the thirds facing the top of a two story room, so those walls are pretty secure.

I ordered this kit today to make this into a gun closet.

Can’t wait to get this set up and have a more secure way to store my guns.

Cool! We want to see the finished product. Unlike my house... it is the gun closet. They are everywhere.

Have you considered installing one of those safe doors (steel door with a combo)?

Yes, but it was way out of my budget for now.

You would have to reinforce the wall for the heavier door and frame.

I would do a secret bookshelf entrance, that would be sick! Wouldn’t it be cool to have a house big enough to have a secret passageway or room?
