Any updates for us Andy?
It won't be long until I start on my gun room/shop project (basement).

Finally my construction guy had time to install the AC vent in the gun closet. He ran a duct from the main duct in the bedroom into the closet. He also put a exhaust vent so I can control the ventilation in the room.
 This is where the exhaust vent out of the room comes into the living room. It’s about 10 feet up.  Here is the exhaust vent in the closet. The vent into the closet is near the opposite corner.  New AC register.  It was at 70 percent when we started. It’s already dropped by 15 points. We also found a small hole that used to bring a DirecTV line into the house. Sealing that will help too. I’ll keep watch on this and see what adjustments need to be made. I shouldn’t need the DampRid bags anymore.
