Default Colt Custom Delta Elite build Piper Custom

Just picked this up from Piper Custom. He did this Colt Custom Build for me. The grips are my "Starry Night" grips, although I'm sure that's not what Sarge from The Finer Grain calls them. I've been trying various grips to see what I like best.

I don't have my photo setup any more so these are just iPhone pictures after greasing it up for the range. I hope to take it out for a spin soon.

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.

My wallet was traumatized for sure, but not all at once, over the course of about a year and a half, first the base gun, then the parts, then the work. It's still cowering in the corner though.

Sweet 10mm Dennis. I'm curious about the series 80 conversion. I thought most people go the other way and convert to series 70? Did you add in the firing pin safety block?
