Thumbs up New S&W 686 Plus Range Report

Nice Day Today, so I shot the New 686 vs the Old Dan Wesson, both 6 inch barrels. Targets shot @ 20 yards. I'm calling it a tie!

Sweet! Did you feel any difference in recoil between the two?
Do they feel any different SA vs DA?
Whose heavier?

Just a few observational questions...

Good Question! Yes, The Dan Wesson 15-2 was smoother in both single & double action. Recoil was the same on both. Not saying The S&W was not pretty smooth, but the double action on it was heavy! The Dan Wesson was much easier to shoot in double action! Unless you've shot a 15-2 Dan Wesson, you would not know how smooth a revolver can be!

The Original DWs Pistolo Pacs from the 1970's were meant for Shooting Competition. I have two of them.
