Default The "Sunderman"

Ok here are the pics of Lanes latest work. The convertible deacon that Lane says he'll name after me. In my opinion the wait was well worth it Lane worked with me the whole time tweaking Ideas about this holster He's defiantly a perfectionist and I think that quality come out in this work. After two days of carry the holster is starting to come into its own loosening up a bit and starting to form to me. The pistol is a guardian 45 modified with an Ed Brown checkerd backstrap and a set of VZ operator II grips.

I hope it works out well for you - you waited long enough! It's hard to tell in the pictures, did the color work out OK? We were trying to get something to match the nifty grips...

I'm not crazy particular about color. The holster does match the belt I wear nicely so I like that about the holster. Not sure what color would have worked better besides black but I think that would not conceal as well. One thought have you ever thought of installing something to help keep the holster open to aid in re-holstering ?

Not yet - I haven't had much feedback that it's an issue (I'm an OWB guy, so...) it wouldn't take much to reinforce it - it'd end up looking a bit more like the Milt Sparks VMII.

Should we take a swipe at the Sunderman II? Maybe it'll be the "LASCO SMII"...

Lane

ETA: Actually, the VMII is supposed to be an IWB/OWB convertible, but I've never seen one with the convertible parts installed.
