Default Pocket Nines

I have been intrigued lately by the pocket 9mm. I have seen a few hands on but have not fired any. I would like to get my hands on a Kahr CM9, Sig P290, and the Beretta Nano.

I like the hammer with the sig, would like it better if it set flush when cocked. I like the reviews for the kahr. I would like a true double action where the fire mechanism isn't under spring tension and double strike capability. Does such a pistol exsist in the size class.

Does anyone have any experience with any type and is there another type you would recommend?

I have carried Kel Tec P11 and PF9's on occasion. They are great little guns, but have very looong and heavy triggers - that's their only safety mechanism. I carry my PF9 with a Crimson Trace Laserguard and an extra mag:

I prefer carrying one of my 1911's usually the Colt Commander or DW CBOB, but there are times when I need a bit more concealment.

I'm looking for the same type of gun. I have not shot any of the three you mentioned, but this is what I've heard and read :

Kahr PM9 and CM9(being the smaller) are both excellent and reliable shooters.

Sig P290 is having some issues that need to be worked out ... light primer strikes caused by the hammer. Google it and you will find some answers.

Beretta Nano I know nothing about yet.

That is all I currently know but I hope it helps in some way ...

Matt

I will never own another Khar.

i sent it back 3 times in the mid nineties to have them say nothing was wrong with it.

It would not feed, eject and the night sights went dead in under a year.

That mk9 was a worthless piece of shit.
