I tried this last night, on another thread, but thought I should introduce myself the proper way.

This forum greatly influenced me to purchase a DW CCO and I thank you all for that !

Hopefully I can learn more about the 1911 and the "family" that uses this forum ...

Maybe it is a little unusual for someone to purchase a DW for their first 1911 ?? ... I just new that I wanted a quality gun and that seemed to be it for the price range.
