My stainless V-Bob finally got here yesterday. It was born around Thanksgiving 2011 and is a beauty. I pulled it apart, cleaned and lubed it last night and headed to the range today. I only fired 128 rounds of 230 ball thru it because I wanted to clean and re-lube it again and I was also shooting a SIG P220 I had recently had some work done on.

This V-Bob is my instant favorite .45 ACP! The sights were dead on at 15yds and it just chewed the center out of the bull. In fact, I ran a target out to 30yds (as far as I could) and was able to keep two mags in a six inch circle around the bull. Standing, two hand hold. That's much better than my old arthritic hands normally do. No burps at all, just ran like a well oiled machine (which it was.)

I haven't had that much fun with a .45 since MP school in 1961:D I decided late last year to get it due to it being the 1911 100th birthday and my 50th anniversary of joining the Army. It was a good decision!
