I'm just getting back into the swing of things, and will be finishing up holsters for those that have been patiently (and not so patiently :)) waiting. In the next batch, is one for our own Fadda - I thought it'd be nice to add a bit of customization. I got it today:

Michael - if you like this stamp, I'll figure out a way to work it into your holster.

Lane,

I was looking at the link you gave for the stamp. It's amazing how many tools you could sink into your craft.
Keep up the good work. :)

Fadda,

What style holster are you getting?
Inquiring mind what to know...... :)

IWB. Leaving it up to Lane. That said, the holster is similar in design to my Crossbreed Holster, with a J-clip rather than loop n snap to hold it to the belt. Lined, with the praying hands on the outside. No one will ever see the hands (unless the holster is off body), but I'm also talking to Esmarelda to acquire the Celtic Cross' in Black Ebony for my CCO grips. Majo has them... I want them.

Mmmmmmm.... I'm liking the very thought.

Luke 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.

BBQ Grips are fitted to your BBQ Gun. The BBQ Gun is the gun you show off to the guys at the BBQ. It is often closely related to the Safe Queen as many regard these as too refined for EDC.

Doc..... we're not QUITE Illinois.... although we have some really stupid laws here. There is no such thing as a CCW in CT (you are correct). The permit actually states "Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers." BUT.... the statute specifically states that the weapon should be carried in such a manner so as not to alarm the general populace, and all effort should be made to keep it concealed. Go FIGGER!! So the law is actually an open carry law, but I guarantee if I go down the street with a DW on my side, I'll get stopped by a cop every 25 yards. Guaranteed.

WE still have the 94 ban in place. GRRRRR....

All this said.... BBQ guns??? I gotta love this! We DO bring our guns to cookouts (the gentile CT way of saying BBQ) and show them to one another. Just in the house out of the neighbor's eyesight!

Got 'er all stitched up, edges beveled, and all the layout lines cleaned off (that's why it looks wet):

I actually just finished dyeing it, and it's on the drying table. Michael - I can't remember - did you want the black airbrush edges or just straight Mahogany?

OK - I finally got it airbrushed and wet molded last night - here's a pic of it my brand new vacuum press (the old one developed a leak...) First holster in the new press - what an honor!!

Tonight, I got it oiled, and tomorrow should be edges and a coat of resolene.
