does this mean you are going to start taking ammo orders??? if so i'll take 4000 45acp, hold the case, bullet and primer and just send the 231.:D

have fun my friend!

I really need to put my square deal together and load some 45acp, just haven't had the chance.

Got 11 lbs so that will hold me for a while. Dumb powder shortage is getting old.

Phil, you say you have a Dillon XL 650, you should be able to run through those 2000 45ACP in about 4 hours and the 500 10MM in about an hour, depending if everything is set-up correctly and all goes as it should.

I had a Dillon RL550B and ran it through its paces, just once mind you at full speed and I did indeed reload 500 pieces of 45ACP in 1 hour without any press problems or reload malfunctions. Of course I was anal when I reloaded and checked every 10th round for being correct.........over kill, maybe but in my reloading experience I never had a bad round!!! For every caliber I reloaded I also had a deluxe quick change assembly, made it so much easier when changing calibers.

Of course I did not load 500 per hour either after the first trial period!!!:D

Yep i am eager to see what i can do on it. First real test. I am almost giddy.

Phil, like I said I only ran it fast one time to actually see if the claim of 500 per hour could be met. The Dillon did as it said it would. Just take your time and all will go well. Like I said, I would check every 10th round for weight and OAL just for my peace of mind. Probably no need but it made me feel good!!:)

Keep us posted on the outcome......you can do it!!!!!

Howdy Phil

If you run into problems send me a message and we will see if we can help you out.

We are running 6 Dillon 1050" s and two 650's Plus one for shotgun, so we have a good handle ion Dillon's

Good luck and at first slower is better

Exactly Gary!! In reloading it is not about the speed but about the consistency of the rounds being manufactured.
