Great buy brownie....Champion Springers are great guns.

Any peculiars with them I should look for?

Bull barrel bushingless, would prefer the plug.

I like the plug too, but in the older guns. Of course the forums are great reading for the Champions, but if I were to buy a bull barrel model the only thing I would change is the recoil spring assembly. Unless you have an accurate round count on the existing one. If it doesn't feel sluggish going into battery the recoil assembly is fine, just order a replacement to have on hand. Some guys change the sight height to fit their needs.

You got a fantastic deal on a pistol that is accurate as could be without all the new parts and filing. The ramped barrel is a winner, that pistol will not fail you. If it is a lightweight Tripp Cobra mags only, the plastic follower prevents dings.

Congrats again.....great buy

I only use rounded plastic follower mags like Tripps or Wilsons. Been that way for near 2 decades now. Imperative on the lw aluminum frame 1911's, which I've carried for some years now.

Thanks
