Is this the HST that y'all speak of?

Nice savings, thanks Joe!

The HST is definitely well regarded. I run Winchester 230 grain PDX1 in my 1911s.

I need some new ammo for my G23, since my current stash is quite a few years old. I'm getting ready to order some HST 165s for it. Thanks for the ammunitiondepot tip.

I watched tnoutdoor's 45 videos and it looks like PDX1, Gold Dots, and Hydra Shoks all will work, but the HST looked nasty when it came out of the test block. I'm going to order some of that and try it out. Thanks everyone for your advice.

Andy, buy 20 rounds of the Wilson Combat stuff with the Barnes bullet and shoot it at night or at an indoor range. Humor me :)
They load with VV N320 or 310. Cuts the flash to less than half of say, Hydrashock. They may use the Hornaday XTP bullet in some loads too.

I'll do that. Thanks.

I'll video that!

I'm not plugging Hurricane Ammo, but he will work with Barnes bullets and probably has access to low flash powder. If you google Hurricane, there have been some delivery problems.... But...Matt, the owner, always was straight up with me. I haven't ordered from him in maybe two years since I'm outta buildings to fill with ammo. Hehehe
