Cool pieces!

My condolences on your loss but, it sounds like he left you some cool stuff.

Thanks much. Actually, I suspect these were family heirlooms before he joined the family when he married my aunt (her father built the house).

This was another of the family heirlooms -

H & R Firearms 922 .22 cal revolver -

I should be able to clean this one up a bit as well.

My uncle owned two of the pieces himself -

1) Smith & Wesson Model 15 K frame 38 spl short barrel 6 shot chrome revolver:

and a Model 10 -

Those are in working order.

Update: The "acquisition" date has been set. I will be executing a transfer agreement with my Aunt shortly after the 4th of July. As it turns out, all of the inventory items qualify as C & R, per 27 CFR §478.11. I have arranged the services of a 03 C & R FFL who will collect them at my Aunt's location and bring them to Florida, where I will receive them a few days later, after proper logging and paperwork, etc.

The 2nd update is that my Aunt was successful in opening a locked cabinet containing her own father's collection of firearms. We knew this is where all the long guns would be located, but what we didn't know is that he also kept an additional three hand guns! Don't have any pictures of these yet, and I probably won't until they are transferred, but add three more to the collection! http://www.floridaconcealedcarry.com...es/banana1.gif

I'll keep you posted!

And I hope to have most of them functioning, as well. Some may never be (the converted flare gun, for example), but I hope I can get the others cleaned and serviced and back in operation.
