We have to stay vigilant and be very active in the political scene. Write and call representatives, attend rallies, talk to neighbors and take them shooting if possible, spread the good word about our rights and about the Constitution.

Jacksonville is the largest city (by area) in the continental US, so it varies widely. We don't get a lot of snowbirds or retirees, but we do have lots of military and retired military.

The more 'urban' areas (downtown, west and northwest side) are democrat, while the rest is generally conservative.

I am on the extreme northeast side of town and there are a few places I don't think I am 'redneck' enough to go in.

Let us hope so... but as JAX grows as a financial power, I fear liberal influences will start to work their magic. Plus, dems slightly outweigh republicans as "registered voters" in Duval county as of 05/31.
