Dave, on the Corian grips what do you use for the shaping of them?

I shape them with a belt sander, drum sander, orbital sander and hand sanding.

Of course I also use a band saw, router, Dremel, a drill press and buffing wheel during the process along with a couple of jigs/fixtures.

The Corian takes a lot of final sanding with multiple grades of sand paper and buffing to remove all the deep sanding marks from the belt sander. Corian requires as much final sanding and buffing as the clear acrylic grips to remove all the sanding marks and to make em smooth as glass.

I have more Corian grips in progress as well as desert ironwood, mesquite, spalted sycamore and cocobolo.

Nice looking grips. Wish I had the nerve to try my hand at wood, but for some reason it scares me.
