It's not true until we see photographic evidence. ;)

I got the CCO today from Gunbroker, it was the filthiest pistol I have ever seen. Gunk every where. After hours of cleaning, it seems to have a tight lock up, great trigger, etc. Pics on Gunbroker looked good and owner talked a good game.

The grip screw bushings(one of them) had been messed with and came out with the screw. One screw was almost fused and stripped, I had to drill and use an easy out.

Question, do I order new bushings and screws from DW or is there a better upgrade/replacement anyone can suggest?

I'd rather have a nice set of SS ones with allen heads.

I sent email to seller asking for a response. There is a tiny ding on the frame feed ramp as it meets ramped barrel, bet it can be polished out.

Otherwise, think it will be fine, it certainly is broken in. It was dirtier than 1911's in the field in the Army back in the day.

I've purchased several grip screw kits from Fusion. Good quality and price was good.

They sell a kit in most any flavor..., hex, torx, standard or slim.

I installed them tonight, thanks again for the tip on fusion. I had actually spoken with Serva many moons ago regarding building a .357 sig 1911.
