I know some guys with the BFR's in 45-70 and they say they're really fun to shoot.

was thinking about getting one for a while but something else has caught my eye.

Big wheel guns are cool I agree, but the price to shoot them is a huge down side for me. My FIL and myself were considering splitting the price on a 500 a while back but to shoot the thing was to spendy for us. Seems silly to buy a gun and only be able to shoot it 20 times a year because the ammo is so spendy!

get you a Ruger Blackhawk in 44 mag and hot load it with 320 gr cast bullets, plenty of thump without costing an arm and a leg.
