Was on the road today, holy crap I have to give truckers a hats off. Driving those trucks is no easy task. Shifting is not like a car, down shifting takes some major skill. I guess it will take me some time.

Oh you’re so correct joe! People seriously take for granted the huge impact the trucking industry makes. Without you a professional driver our country seriously stops. No food delivered, clothing, crap from Amazon nothing. No mail I mean damn near everybody gets 90% of daily stuff from a semi.

I now deal with the enforcement of the transportation industry on a daily basis and it pisses me off that i need to remind our officers not to be assholes to guys driving a truck delivering our stuff to make an honest living that most could not do!

^^^^ I've always had the utmost respect for those guys, do whatever I can to make their time while driving around me as easy on them as I can.

I actually wanted to be a trucker when I was growing up, not sure why I never pursued it.

Same here, just wish i hadn't waited until my 40's to do it. But sadly I think I am getting sick. Or the dry air is messing with my lungs.

Dry air and lots of climate change plays hell on the body. It’s tough!!!

That's why Doctors tell people that a dry climate is best for them, humidity plays havoc on the respiratory system.
I'd guess the change of climate and acclamation is probably? what Joe's experiencing, something new to his body, been there, went through the same thing before, altitude will do the same.

I feel worse today then I did last night. Running a fever now as well.

Oh I was back behind the wheel today. Just parallel parking which is easy once you learn the tricks. Sitting at about 70% health wise. Just tired after today. Have weekends off so laundry tomorrow and return things to walmart that I bought and didn't use.

I don’t think the karmas (lack there of) had anything to do with it. The old timers didn’t like the way the site was headed with all the newbs being brought in. That and the lack of 1911 talk would be my guess.

Yep, NO complaints looking at that while eating lunch, that's for sure !!

I have seen many beautiful mountains. Sadly I was driving today so I couldn't take pics. My shifting has improved drastically, my instructor said I had improved since last week and today I was doing great. The fear has let up quite a bit. Guessing we will be on the road most of the week so that will be a big help for testing next week. I hope they bring us back in kind of early a couple days at the end so we can refresh on our backing skills primarily parallel and off set.
