Thanks Sniper. I was hoping to get more blue out of the wood, but as I started contour sanding, the blue went away and more tan came through. Such is the way with wood though.

Yes. I offered a Black Friday special on my Facebook page offering 5 special order slots for customers to select their own choice of woods. This customer requested exhibition grade desert ironwood. I didn't particularly enjoy making the grips, but the finished product was more than worth it.
