I have three drawers of gun accessories, one. Mag and holster drawer, a poncho liner on my sleeping area, and a closet full of Deuce gear. ( ALICE pack and such for civilians and POGs)

I think the stream light is a fine choice for us regular folks. Wont be in a war, or private contracting. I just did get the SureFire and can tell you it was probably more then $300.00, duel charging. I wasn’t worried about budgeting, otherwise the Streamlite would have been one of my choices....also check out Olight and see what they have. I know they have a magnet connector on their pressure switch model.

I used a scope ring to mount a Surefire P2X Fury on my home defense carbine. It wasn't meant for a weapon light so there is no remote switch. I have to punch the base of the light to turn it on, but I can reach it with the index finger of my support hand, so it's quick and easy to turn on.

Thanks. I’m not so sure about the whole magnet thing. What if the cord snags on anything and the magnet falls off? Does the light remain on or will it turn off? Ect.... I know you would tie the cord down as much as possible to prevent snagging but, there will be plenty sticking out waiting to catch on something. At least the threaded ones (sure fire and streamlight) would have a fighting chance. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’ve thought of that exact mounting myself. My thought on that is in an adrenaline fueled scenario, will my index finger find that tail cap quickly? Probably not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
