The first 1911 I ever bought, back in the 90's, was a Kimber Custom. Honestly, I wish I still had that gun today - it's the only one I regret parting with.

My Eclipse Custom II is a thing of beauty and what's more; it was built on a rather significant birthday so it's a keeper. That said, I really like my new RIA, so far it's just a good, solid 'Everyman's 1911' ... I dare say I might even have more pride in ownership of it :)

Well, obviously they got their jobs the same way our gov't officials got their jobs....not on talent alone!

We use words like Kimber, Rocks and Springer. ..we use these words because they mean something to us. You use 'em as a punchline.
