I love the Ruger MkIII's and the Browning Buck Marks, I tricked out both of mine very nicely with Burris FastFire III red dots and all Volquartsen internals for the MkIII.
I've got an AR styled 10-22 that I'm very fond of, it's got a FastFire III on it also.

Yes it does - absolutely everything! I just wish they made one with a 1911 grip configuration like Ruger's 22/45. I tried using mine in a Rimfire Steel match and I found myself having to spend way too long getting on target. It just didn't point naturally like my 1911 with a conversion slide. Of course the Kimber...er, uh, I mean Mimber conversion slide is extremely picky about ammo.

If you get a Ruger 10/22 leave it as is. As you can see the second Ruger from the top has been changed, a fluted bull barrel and a stock to match the barrel.

All this serious contemplation when all you need to know is .22LR is a fun plinking round. Not a life saving or survival or something you need a serious gun for. Get something to blast away and have a blast in the process. The STG-44 22 will be fun!
