I prefer a smooth grip, not a big fan of the stippling. I think it detracts from a nice piece of wood!!

and I know what you mean, while the stippling does aid in gripability it covers up too much wood.

I don't think I could do it to a really nice pair of grips.

What is the going rate for Commander sized bone grips?

well I've got that set above on my website for $120 shipped and insured but if you're interested i'll give you a discount, they do have some very small pores which can't be sanded out but they cannot be felt at all and I will fill them with clear epoxy if you wish.
