well what happened was I joined one of those gun part of the month clubs and this was the first thing they sent me, I get a barrel next month. :D

no luck on the ironwood yet:( everything I've been able to find with great figure is to small even for 1911 grips.

I might however be able to get some of that thuya burl that's big enough, can you give me an exact length and width so I know for sure?
