Buds for Christmas
 

I had read posts from folks disgruntled with Buds and had never checked them out till this week. Decided to price them against the best I could find anywhere including Gunbroker. They started with a lower price, accepted an offer I was sure they would reject and they have free shipping, full insurance $1 per hundred plus they will accept an electronic check that let me take advantage of the 3% discount cash price from the comfort of my office chair and took about 15 seconds to execute. They had my FFL on file! Saved $70 from the next best offer. AND I didn't have to screw around with an auction. Even I know how to say yes to that. Only one transaction so far but I like Buds. They haven't shipped yet (3 days) but say 3 to 5 days to ship. Fair enough.

Buds is outstanding. I've gotten three or four guns from them and plan on getting lots more.

I never bought from Buds yet....BUT.....my two little LGS owners have developed A-hole attitudes this past year. Brisk sales and $$$$ flowing makes for a jerk behind the counter I guess. Buds is gonna get a nod from me, and a local pawn shop can do the transfer.

Buds is great, I've gotten a few guns from them. But, also check out grab-a-gun. They charge $5 for shipping but sometimes they are cheaper than buds even with the shipping.

There are so many online shops now that blow away the lgs pricing that it is difficult to support the lgs' s.....especially if they have attitudes (two of my three have this issue).

My LGS knows who their core customers are and haven't forgotten them, even with the massive influx of newbies.

Anything I can buy there I do, even if it's a buck or two more than elsewhere.

I have used them three times, all great transactions.....no issues at all.

I like Bud's just fine. Most of my firearms purchases come from them. I always use a credit card and eat the 3% fee. I have had the free shipping range from overnight (for reasons unknown) to around 10 days. Seems like 5-7 days is my norm.

yeah their shipping practices are strange, sometimes I get it in 2-3 days and others have been 2 weeks. I think it is just how busy they are I guess?

Yep I use the credit card too, the 3% is nothing. Much easier!!

With the title, I thought you were in Colorado choosing between Maui Wowy and Northern California Sesamia. :D
