From father to son!
A few weeks ago, I put a new roof on my mom and dad's house. ( well some friends and I did) Well when we had finished, my dad and I were sitting in the breezway talking, when he got up, and walked inside! He returned a few minutes later and laid something in my lap. When I opened up the case, I was surprised to see his old Rem. model 760/ 30-06! I have many fond memories when I was a boy, of walking through the woods during deer season, with him carrying this beautiful old rifle! He bought it new in 1958, one year before I was born. He said he took a big 16 point that year with it! Well anyway here are some pics!

I feel very honored that my dad passed this beautiful old girl on to me!! |

Great story and rifle, Sparkie. Just wait 'til you kill a deer with it. It will taste so much better!
