An apology to Cotep
 

Hello family (albeit a dysfunctional one at times),

I just want to reach out and extend an apology to everyone, especially the Floridians, as I am in part to blame for some of the fireworks that have erupted in days past.

I am the one who coined the phrases FLOTEP and FCC 2.0. Never once has a member from Florida came here boasting or brandishing either of the aforementioned faux forum names.

I started it as joke at the influx of member's brought over here by our friend pig.

I meant it only as a joke, honestly....but somewhere it started to be taken seriously and spiraled out of control.

So, in closing, I apologize to all those that have been affected because of my asinine mocking.

Oh, by all means does this admission of guilt and apology for my misguided humor, mean that I will not do something like it in the future. :rolleyes: You have been warned.

I appreciate the apology, didn't like the phrases all that much though as I certainly did not want to push that on anyone here. Reason I came here was because of the tight knit, very friendly atmosphere, and as much as pig would disagree, cool folks such as yourself! I very much enjoy chatting with you, as well as the other regulars in the chat box.

I'd like to go on record stating I hope COTEP remains every bit as it was to the long time members here, but meeting new friends and enjoying the experience as much as the new folks like myself, enjoy a forum as it was meant to be.

Howie, I guess I should've been a little more clear in my OP, it's more of a coming clean than an apology. Innocent people were blamed for something I started. It was only right to set the record straight.

And to Alex...."You ain't right in the head!!" I guess that's why I like you so much.
