If I lived in NY I'd probably settle on a nice lever action myself.

I have a friend from college that lives in New Jersey and he has to hide his M1 Carbine because he says it is illegal to own it there. I told him to move, and he advised unfortunately he can't do that until he retires, which is not in the immediate future. So he has to be a felon to exercise his Second Amendment right. What a screwy way to live. |
I defected from that Commy state in May 2012. Sad because my family and friends are still there, but I wanted to be with my wife to be. It's nice not only to have a rifle w/o discrimination, but even better to be able to go into a store and leave with a brand new pistol, buy 7+ mags, etc. It's sad what they are doing to that state, and firearms aren't the only areas that are being "Liberalized"... unfortunately.

Whenever I go home to NY, this goes in the truck, lol. It's my only NY compliant weapon.. for now!
